Dungeness National Nature Reserve. New Romney Town Trail. Leaflets, Panels and Publications. Green Tourism and Local Community Work. Today the full length of the canal has a public footpath along it and makes an excellent waymarked long distance trail with numerous interpretation panels. The canal is also a haven for some of the special wildlife of the Romney Marsh, Kingfishers can be regularly seen and during the summer months the canal comes alive with patrolling dragonflies and noisy Marsh Frogs.

I've been taking photographs for a long time, and flying kites for almost as long. Time to join the two together. This is a journal of my experiences taking photos from kites. Monday, February 23, 2009. Not a good weekend for testing. Monday, February 16, 2009. It is finished and tested, well indoors anyway. The rig is complete all connected up and working, and I've even managed to take a couple of photos triggered by CHDK. With a bit of luck we'll get a real flight test next weekend!
