New Mexico Turners: Backyard Part 2
http://newmexicoturners.blogspot.com/2011/05/backyard-part-2.html
Our Exploits in and Around the Land of Enchantment. Wednesday, May 11, 2011. After putting in grass last week, today was spent on the fire pit area. Nothing fancy- less than $125 dollars for the chairs and fire bowl, but already the backyard is a gathering space for the kids after homework. Once they can play on the grass that will only increase. Red Sails: October 2009
http://kristinsredsails.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 6, 2009. Some things hurt. Some of the things that hurt are good. Some pain is necessary for survival. Pain should not always be avoided at all costs. What I have to say is this: duh! Not succinct enough for you? How about this-why don't we teach kangaroo care here in the sophisticated, educated, rich country we live in? For premature and full-term babies? How are you going to stand up to that child that you had to be drugged to bring into the world? Or worse, that you hate them? Give it...

New Mexico Turners: Some Christmas Photos
http://newmexicoturners.blogspot.com/2010/12/some-christmas-photos.html
Our Exploits in and Around the Land of Enchantment. Friday, December 24, 2010. Here are some winter-themed pictures from the past week. First, the boys and I played in the snow we got in ABQ last Friday- nearly half an inch, and enough for a two-hour delay. Next, the kids at Temple Square earlier this week. And, finally, Summer and me (pre-hair cut) at Temple Square. I'll probably post some Christmas-morning pictures this weekend. Until then, Merry Christmas. We love your family! Picture of the Week.

Our Exploits in and Around the Land of Enchantment. Saturday, July 10, 2010. Rubber Egg (also called see-through egg or raw egg peeler). You MUST try doing this sometime! Pour a glass about half full of white vinegar. Put in a raw egg. Leave for a couple of days. (Ours worked in about 24 hours.). When you take the egg out it feels like rubber! Here are some before and after shots. Before (the bubbles are just starting! After (notice how it looks swollen, and yellowish-that would be the yoke). Rubber Egg ...

New Mexico Turners: September 2009
http://newmexicoturners.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Our Exploits in and Around the Land of Enchantment. Monday, September 7, 2009. To celebrate the last day off until Thanksgiving (the kids and I both have some days off before then, but Labor Day is the last joint holiday until we eat turkey), we decided to join some friends from the ward in a trip to the Pecos National Historical Park in northern New Mexico. It's place we've been meaning to visit for some time, and the group outing made it ideal. The start of the trail. Seven of the Twelve Children.

Our Exploits in and Around the Land of Enchantment. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. What a Summer It's Been. With the older kids starting school this week, and Isaac beginning kindergarten Monday, we are ready to call summer over and reflect on all we've done. Here- in list form- is a review of this season:. Allyson's summer program at Albuquerque Academy. Isaac had a two-week swimming lesson program. At the beginning of July. Allyson then had a four-day Girl Scout day camp. Where we played for three days.
