Lets see what we can find…. C and L Cafe – Virginia Arts & Gifts. March 25, 2010. The drive down 33 is definitely worth it. Posted by William Clark. StumbleUpon – A Random Garage Sale. March 25, 2010. If I hadn’t been so successful with what I found at this. The lady at the register (aka the lady sitting in the chair at the top of the driveway) mentioned that many JMU students find many small useful items there. I wish I could be more detailed, but it is a yard sale after all. Very little organiz...Appar...

Lets see what we can find…. George Washington National Forest. April 28, 2010. My friends and I spent this past weekend down at Smith Mountain Lake (if we actually left our house and utilized some of the lake’s amenities I’d blog about it). Upon determining our route from Harrisonburg, I noticed much of the trip was along small country roads. After getting off 81 about an hour south of Harrisonburg, we were directed through the George Washington National Forest. Via route 43 east @ Buchanan, Virginia.

Lets see what we can find…. March 26, 2010. So I look back to what I’ve written about thus far and I notice that everything I’ve talked about is either consumer goods sales or restaurants. I’m not quite sure what this might actually suggest, but this next place is a bit more down the beaten path. Apparently, its a known fishing. Posted by William Clark. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Lets see what we can find…. April 28, 2010. The theme recently has been the outdoors–I found it more and more difficult to keep blogging about shops when consumer preference depends more on the individual. Natural beauty appeals universally, and with Spring around the bend (though for some reason today its barely going to break 60-wtf? Its more enjoyable to explore the outdoors. 8230;just kidding, someday, it will happen…. Again, I can’t compare this hike to others–to say its the best in the ...You are c...

Shop Civil War | Will's Blog

Lets see what we can find…. April 29, 2010. Another niche store we came across in New Market was Shop Civil War. The store’s website. Provides a list of the various items they had inside. I could only see a bunch of figurines through the glass from the outside, but the website boasts “reproduction swords, pistols, and rifles,” hats, flasks, knives, flags, among other things…sounds like a wide variety of Civil War wonder. For much of what they have at the store. Posted by William Clark. Notify me of new c...

Lets see what we can find…. Dayton Farmer’s Market. March 26, 2010. We came across the Dayton Farmer’s Market. On a Wednesday to find that it was only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The next day, I came back with a familiar patron of this particular market. We were there just before closing, so all we could do was wander a bit to get a feel for it. More reason to check it out with a little more financial flexibility. Reason to see it for yourself. Posted by William Clark. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

The Christmas Gallery | Will's Blog

Lets see what we can find…. April 29, 2010. Despite what I’d mentioned in my last post about the subjectivity of consumer preference, my friend and I came across a store that definitely appeals to a larger bunch–who doesn’t love Christmas? We arrived in Downtown New Market. What do we care, anyway? Nevertheless, we were drawn by Mrs. Zirkle, the life-size doll on a rocking chair on the front porch of the store. Creepy lady, right? Would definitely be great. Posted by William Clark. Enter your comment here.
