Scarborough Fair: April 2008
http://zerothroughput.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 25, 2008. I'm sorry, but I simply can't help it. I've turned into a link collecting maniac. And to make matters worse, I insist on sharing. Like me. (Check out his blog roll. Those links are kick ass as well.). I guess wiki links don't count. Math theorems I got to know of courtesy him. Theorem with difficult name and impossible proof. Thursday, April 17, 2008. A completely uncreative post. Dude said some rather interesting stuff over a chat:. He also told me of this. Que: Cars cross a cert...

Scarborough Fair: "Gather ye rosebuds while ye may"
http://zerothroughput.blogspot.com/2008/06/gather-ye-rosebuds-while-ye-may.html
Sunday, June 1, 2008. Gather ye rosebuds while ye may". Gather ye rosebuds while ye may,. Old Time is still a-flying;. And this same flower that smiles today;. Tomorrow will be dying.". Poem by Robert Henrrick. The poet asks young women to nail themselves a man before their beauty fades. Sigh. Even 17th century poets seem to be bent on rubbing in the fact that a woman's beauty is but a fleeting asset. Also the nailing a man part. And not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.". We don't read...

Ten Thousand Thundering Typhoons!!!: September 2009
http://tragicomixx.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
September 13, 2009. Haiku Post - Painful pedestrians. How many times have you had to slam on the brakes just because someone crossed the road like an idiot, in the middle of heavy. Traffic.more often then not - it's a lady - too embarassed to run in public, but thick-skinned enough to want to cross whereever. And the worst bit is that unlike men who will scowl or even shout back if you curse them, women will break into a smile(! When they hear the squeal of brakes and still continue to walk.

Ten Thousand Thundering Typhoons!!!: November 2008
http://tragicomixx.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
November 30, 2008. Lessons from the Mumbai Terror tragedy - Too Many Heroes (Part 2/4). What went wrong - Too Many Heroes. About all over, without much instruction. Manpower was poured in. That is for sure, but all of it did not seem properly utilized. Look, i can't imagine that Indian Agencies will ever. But, since we're a Democracy, why not look at shared responsibility - Divide the Risk! This is post 2 of a 4part article. Read Part 1: Introduction. Part 4: Too Little Practice. Of things to improve.

Musings: June 2009
http://ajay-j.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 23, 2009. Well probably coz of the following:. I am a workaholic and spend more than necessary hours at the office. She doesn't know many people here and whomever she knows stays pretty far from where I stay (and most of you know how hard it is to commute in Bangalore). She has a job (as a primary teacher) and she doesn't want to leave it and come here. Chennai is so hot at any given time of the year, that you don't feel like getting out, so I cooked whenever I could, which happened to be 3...

My life and other strange things. Sunday, January 15, 2012. Soccer in no mans land. I find this picture very intriguing. Some might find it strange that we went all the way to Death Valley and played soccer *. In the middle of nowhere with nobody else around. This picture involves my life. And it involves a strange thing. So I put this up in a blog called my life and other strange things. Enough said! Friday, January 13, 2012. Being liked is something you don't get by trying too hard. In each case, I'm t...

my life and other strange things: Likeable Writing
http://nikhilbalaji.blogspot.com/2012/01/likeable-writing.html
My life and other strange things. Friday, January 13, 2012. Being liked is something you don't get by trying too hard. I spent a good part of this morning trying to come up with something likeable to write about. Thoughts came and went, but none of them stuck on. Well, its not like there isn't much happening in my life. No sir (or madam, my apologies), there is no dearth of things to write about. I believe each piece of writing should get what it rightly deserves - a deferred judgement. Evaluating yo...
