Thursday, June 25, 2009. One foot stuck in a SPACE. At the end of week four, I feel that I have a framework to guide me through the course readings. I'm beginning to make connections and gain a deeper understanding of the elements of ethnographic research and the theories that underline it. The Illustrative Literary Events regarding the Spaces in Academic Socialization (Seloni, 2008) seems so applicable and personally relevant as a teacher and a student. Support group, side conversations, presentations.
