We had the opportunity to take one more trip down the Kenai and it happened to be a great last trip! We caught a few fish and the weather ended up being 'ok' for October standards. Thursday, August 23, 2012. 2012 Brooks Range Sheep Hunt. This sheep hunt started out like most others… last fall. We booked our hunt in a new location and a little later on so as to hopefully eliminate some of the competition in the mountains. Sunday, December 30, 2012. One of a kind Christmas. Christmas this year was a little more unconventional than we would have liked. I worked Christmas Eve, and then had to be back to work midnight Christmas evening. Riley had to work 8-8 Christmas. As you all know Riley and I were in the Portland area at the beginning of the month. It was a short trip but nice to be home for a few days. We were able to see so many people and squeeze a lot in during those days. Here are a couple pictures from the trip.
