Vanasse settled for third with Cavallaro and Burr rounding out the top five. Bob Pelland III, Gerry DeGasparre, Dennis Stange, Tyler Thompson and Frank Duquette finished sixth through tenth. 7 Late Model News. Sunday, May 16, 2010. Casper Scores Second Victory of 2010. For the first time, Kyle Casper has scored back to back victories in the Late Model Series. Due to the handicapping points system, Casper's win last week forced him to a mid-field starting position. Kyle started 10th in the Late Model event alongside defending Late Model Champion Ryan Vanasse. The victory was Casper's second of the 2010 season and 13th of his career. He remains the 2010 Late Model Series Points Leader.

On the green, DeGasparre was gone again, but a challeng for second led to a three-wide challenge down the backstretch between Pelland, Cavallaro and Vanasse.
