For her part, Willa likes to kiss mama’s belly and to point to it and say “baby.” She has enjoyed lots of time at the beach recently, where she is fascinated by pouring and scooping water and sand (and also the birds). Jude and mama took a happy trip to Chicago, where we spent time with Meaghan and Liam and Dana, enjoyed an impromptu snowstorm, and ate a lot. It’s rare that I get a photograph of me with either one of the kids, but thanks to Dana, I’ve now got a nice one (the above was just taken by me in the bathroom). D and M, I couldn’t love you more. Not so zen momma. Thursday, February 25, 2010. Since we've been married, Derek and I have blissfully shared a one-sink bathroom. No kidding, our first apartment had two bathrooms, but we just easily shared the one attached to the master bedroom. Our starter house had one bathroom until the last 2 months we lived there. (You can check out that complete home reno. I can't remember a single fight. We coordinated bathroom breaks, morning routines, and the additional of a child without the slightest hiccup.
