Thursday, August 14, 2014. This is a 16-part series. I will compare what the BCS actually gave us over the past 16 years with what we could've seen if my BCS Playoff System. Was used instead. This will also give an outlook as to why this system would be best for college football's future. Note - the Big East counts as an automatic qualifier here, and has a main tie of the Orange Bowl. Also, the rankings used are from the BCS standings of the time, not my preferred formula. Rose Bowl - Friday, January 1.

Thursday, January 28, 2016. Texas Realignment Options - Part 7. Part 7 - Recap. Over the past 6 entries, I have discussed every realignment option for the Texas Longhorns, and the repercussions each would bring. But which one is best? There are a few categories I'll use to determine this: Academics, Revenues, Rivalries, and Travel. 1 Independent (35 points). 2 Big 12 (34 points). 3 Big Ten (30 points). T-4 SEC (28 points). T-4 Pac-16 (28 points). 6 ACC (13 points). 1 Big 12 (30 points). 3 SEC (26 points).
