Running from Mediocrity: December 2013
http://nottooslowforboston.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Follow me as I go from back-of-the-packer to Boston qualifier. Tuesday, December 31, 2013. LVTC Half Marathon Recap. Let's not mess around. I set a new pr of 1:46:58. If the course would have been like I thought it was, I would have easily broke 1:45. If it had been a flat course, I could have broke 1:42. I might just do my own half marathon time trial in February, but I'm not really sure what that would prove. The Sisters on the way out. Then came the turnaround. And the Three Sisters. Although the cour...

http://garden-variety-maritime-runner.blogspot.com/2012/09/2011-2012.html

In fact, I think it regressed. A quick photo recap of the last year follows. Carrying too much weight? The 20 miles I ran the day before? The Fall Classi...

JOURNEY TO A SUB 3HR MARATHON. Trials and tribulations of knocking almost another half an hour off my PB. Tuesday, 28 July 2015. Monday, July 20th: 17.0km Easy (5:38/km). After the race yesterday I had always planned to do another medium distance run today to compensate for lack of a true LSR this weekend. The idea of running on tired legs certainly worked! By the time I returned home I was happy to be done but if needed could have tacked on a few extra easily enough so that’s a good result! Legs were a ...
