Ruby In The Rough does Socks: Wooly Nylon?
http://rubyintheroughsocks.blogspot.com/2008/05/wooly-nylon.html
Ruby In The Rough does Socks. Knitting Socks can be the most addictive of all. Saturday, May 31, 2008. The Sock Wars site has had some discussions on reinforcing for heels and toes. There's only on NS LYS within my range that ever has "real" reinforcing yarn. And it seemed expensive for a tiny amount. When you are on the cutting edge, people look at you differently. Ruby In The Rough does Socks: What happened to Socktopia?
http://rubyintheroughsocks.blogspot.com/2008/03/what-happened-to-socktopia.html
Ruby In The Rough does Socks. Knitting Socks can be the most addictive of all. Friday, March 07, 2008. What happened to Socktopia? Does anyone know what happened to Socktopia? I know the posts that I'm finding on the Blog/KAL or whatever it was long ago, but can't hurt to try. I'm getting a "this might be for sale" message when I go there. How did I miss this? Well, I thing it was during my LACE phase last year. There is just sooooo much cool stuff out there, how is one to keep up with it all? Caps to th...
Ruby In The Rough does Socks: The Ram Club for Men's Socks
http://rubyintheroughsocks.blogspot.com/2008/04/ram-club-for-mens-socks.html
Ruby In The Rough does Socks. Knitting Socks can be the most addictive of all. Thursday, April 24, 2008. The Ram Club for Men's Socks. I don't remember exactly what lead up to it, but I think I signed up for a "Men's Sock Club"? The Sock Club for Men? Hee hee heee. Well, I do have plenty of "Men" in my socalled life that I could knit for, right? Maybe it was the Ram thing. I'm heavily influenced by Aries. A few days ago, I came across a blog where a woman has listed how many Yards of Yarn she owns. Ruby ...
Ruby In The Rough does Socks: Cat Bordhi Socks
http://rubyintheroughsocks.blogspot.com/2008/03/cat-bordhi-socks.html
Ruby In The Rough does Socks. Knitting Socks can be the most addictive of all. Tuesday, March 04, 2008. Anyway, Cat Bordhi is awesome. Do you think she teaches the way she writes? I had this book for a long time before I actually dove into it. But, back to Cat . I know it's an OCD thing: I want to knit 'till all the yarn is gone. And I want the project to be finished when all the yarn is gone. It's the knitter's version of 10 hot dogs vs 8 buns. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sock Wars 2006 Forum.
Ruby In The Rough does Socks: Clear Shoes to wear w/ socks Jilly by Soda

Ruby In The Rough does Socks. Knitting Socks can be the most addictive of all. Monday, June 02, 2008. Clear Shoes to wear w/ socks Jilly by Soda. Searching for "CLEAR" shoes to show off Hand Knit Socks. I've found some scarry stuff that I'll post at the regular Rubyintherough.blogspot. But here we'll explore the real contenders. Obviously, they'll mostly be Man Made products. Affordable, comfortable, and practical are essential. Eccentric, creative, and quirky are OK. Might work for "dressy" socks. P...

Ruby In The Rough Archives. Thursday, May 31, 2007. Knit a Faux Chain-Mail Coif. Do you want the "pattern"? I'm working on writing it down, it's more of a recipe based on the wearer's measurements. Email me or comment here to encourage me. A Coif is the Hat part of Chain Mail. I had a request to knit a coif last fall for part of a "Link" costume. Link is the hero of the Zelda video games (Zelda is the girl they're rescuing). Jeeze! Don't you watch what they're playing? I've actually machine washed and dr...

Ruby In The Rough Archives. Wednesday, August 01, 2007. The Jughead Hat series from Domiknitrix. I've finished several hats from the Jughead pattern in DomiKnitrix. My first was a black one for my eldest son, that looks strikingly like one of the photos in the book. Then I did a couple in desert camo colors for marines. And then the other son helped design a hot green and blue verigated version and one with eye slits. Where are those photos? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Gospel we believe. The “God” Of Open Options. As an Englishman, one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in America is automated call centers. You miss a package delivery from FedEx, and you have to call them to arrange a new delivery time. The problem is that when you call, you aren’t connected to a human being. You are connected to a talking robot programmed to recognize what you are saying in English. (more…). Fifty Shades of Gospel Revealed? How Finding a Spouse is like Buying a House! 8221; soug...

Saturday, March 7, 2015. A couple weeks ago we added 12 new additions to the homestead. Chicks! I'm a total newbe to chicken keeping, but a backyard flock of chickens has been high on my new-home wishlist. I selected a dozen chickens- five Buff Orpington, five Australorp, and two Black Copper Marans. They are all female, since our city isn't crazy about roosters in city limits (which is okay, roosters don't tend to lay many eggs). Wednesday, January 21, 2015. What is your art? I encourage you to look into this for yourself and your family. I'm sure you'll be glad you did! I'M HAVING A GIVEAWAY!

Ruby In The Rough does Socks
Ruby In The Rough does Socks. Knitting Socks can be the most addictive of all. Wednesday, October 05, 2011. Still can't find that lost sock. What could it be? A hot pad for the cast iron skillet handle? My SIL had a quilted Curling Iron Cover? A cast for injured puppy or kitten? And he throws out all the lonely unmatched and holey socks at the bottom of the basket. Surely, that wouldn't happen in a fair world. But, I still wonder if it's the consequences of my selfishness. Ruby in the Rough Unfinished Objects. Who knows what UFO lurks in yonder attic fair? Tuesday, January 17, 2012. The Sunset UFO Afghan is now 33 years and running. It's that time of year again when I survey the UFOs around me. And, it has be brought to my attention that the Afghan is now 33 years old. And, the Mop Yarn Aran Sweater is now over 6 years old. But in my defense, I did finish off some projects this year. Links to this post. Sunday, August 15, 2010. Links to this post. Wednesday, March 12, 2008.
