This is the story of the plantation shutters that we had installed at our house. It is not a good story and to date it does not have a happy ending. We had been renovating the house for some time when in 2012 we turned our attention to window coverings. Nepean Blinds were recommended to us by friends as the price was reasonable and they had no problems with the installation. This is their website. Http:/ www.nepeanblinds.com.au/. December 19 is my last dives for 2015 at Port Kembla. Flooded Camera. November 28 is The Steps with very poor viz. November 21 is dive 1000 for me at The Leap and then The Steps. November 14 we dived Magic Point but no sharks and then Whale Watch with my friend Paul from The Netherlands. August 28 again at Magic Point. July 4 is sharks at Magic Point. June 27 we aimed for Shellharbour but only got to Port Kembla. Still nice dives on the BOMBO and The Pinnacle. March 7 only one dive at Bypass reef. Novemb...

Bombo 14-02-15

We headed down to Port Kembla on Valentines Day. Water temperatures was 24C at the surface. As I headed down at 10 m was a very dark layer of water and the thermocline also. The temp dropped to 18 quite quickly. At the bottom viz was 8m and a bit dark due to the dirty layer above. Lots of the usual fish around. Towards the bow a cuttle hid under the plates. And right up near the bow a good size wobbie rested. A nice dive with flat seas and little wind, ruined a bit by a dirty layer of water.

The Hump 28-02-15

Club dive to Shellharbour on February 28 2015. Five boats out. We had Heinz, Leo, Wayne and I. We headed out to The Hump in a bit over 30m depth. As we were manoeuvring we got the prop caught a huge ball of rope, attached to a basket. After untangling to from the prop we sank the basked with a couple of fishing weights. Then the rope stayed on the boat. We dumped it above the boat ramp near the gravel loader. I had to swim it in. Definitely the best dive for this summer.
