Saturday, January 18, 2014. On the Lake (Bull Lake, MT). Bull Lake, MT was the perfect place for our family vacation this summer. Although the drive felt like it took forever, after we all got there we could see it was going to be just right for our BIG group. The cabin was only separated from the lake by a grassy field, perfect for steal the flag and football. But thanks to Kathy's "cruiser" we were only a short bike ride (or walk) from the beauty of the water. More "on land" fun coming next!

Monday, May 16, 2011. Following in the footsteps of her older siblings, this little pirate loves to dress up! Today in preschool we were talking about the letter X, so we read books about pirates and I sent the little pirates on a treasure hunt. Pretty soon, little Amelia brought me a bandanna and patted her head to show me that she wanted to dress up too. I think she stayed "in character" longer than any of the preschoolers.
