This summer actually flew, but here is one of the best highlights that I will remember for a long time, my granddaughter Gabrielle got to sing the national anthem at the Reading Phillies. Primitive Rughooking with Vintage and As-is Wool. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Finally things have slowed down enough for me to get back into the grove of hooking again. I chose a reproduction of an antique rug hooked by Nancy Shippey. This rug is 160 years old, wow! 65279;. This lovely sunflower rug was hooked by Leah Trainer. Katie Allman, an Ohio gal. 65279;. Friday, November 11, 2011. First Snow - 11-11-11. We woke this morning to a blanket of snow. I was so excited to see that white stuff! Now that most of the leaves have fallen in NE Ohio, the scenery was looking a little bland. This morning's dusting was a welcome change. I look forward to fires in the fireplace, wool sweaters, mittens and hot chocolate. I filled up the bird feeders last week and the birdies have rediscovered them. They are so fun to watch!
