The Ruminating Room: December 2013
http://www.ruminatingroom.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 27, 2013. I bumped into a blog post entitled: 11 Things Stay at Home Moms Are Tired of Hearing. Even though I'm not a mom I could totally see how some of the things on the list would be irritating to hear again and again. It wasn't until I read some of the comments made about the post that I thought, "Wait a minute, that's not cool stay-at-home moms." A few of the commenters were saying things along the lines that childless people just don't and can't get it. This is my all-time favorite).

The Ruminating Room: August 2013

Saturday, August 17, 2013. Plan to be Unplanned. I like the idea of sharing my testimony in church, but I am not very articulate at getting my message from my brain, to my mouth, out of lips, on the spur of the moment, in front of a bunch of people, so I thought I would share some thoughts here. So I have been thinking. always a little scary right? That would be awesome right! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Like The Ruminating Room on Facebook: https:/ www.facebook.com/TheRuminatingRoom?
The Ruminating Room: A Secret
http://www.ruminatingroom.com/2013/12/a-secret.html
Sunday, December 22, 2013. Lean in close, I have a little secret to tell you. You are a child of God. He knows you. He loves you. He understands what is in your heart. He knows your struggles. He knows your strengths and desires. It doesn't matter what you have done. What path you have chosen to follow in life, He loves you just the same. No, that's a choice they have made for themselves. I don't judge that person's character and whole heart on that one choice. Just as I would not one some one ju...Like ...
The Ruminating Room: The Educated Mother
http://www.ruminatingroom.com/2014/01/the-educated-mother_9912.html
Sunday, January 26, 2014. I have been stuck on this belief that someone shared with me this past week. "Education is a means to an end. Nothing is so important to put off motherhood for. Real women are selfless and they have children.". I found this little gem:. A Woman's View: the gift of an educated mother. You would take some time to prepare for it. Make sure you are physically fit to make the trek. You would spend time learning about the environment and what things you need to take with you t...

Tuesday, February 4. 19 Months November - December. I took Autumn to Toys-R-Us and she almost went crazy! It was really fun seeing her explore as much as she can with her little hands and legs. I had to redirect her a couple times to the more "exciting" toys because to her, everything is fun and new! We left without buying a thing, just a fun outing playing with toys that aren't ours! I don't mind having her come along. It's fun pushing her around and making her smile. She LOVES going outside. So goo...

Sunday, June 30. Mother's Day and Father's Day! 8220;Motherhood is near to divinity. It is the highest, holiest service to be assumed by mankind.”. Howard W. Hunter. We had a lot of fun celebrating this year. For Mother's Day we headed up to West Jordan (surprise surprise) and went to church there to hear Spencer's dad give a talk. He is always so sweet and includes his family members in his talk, including me. I sure love that man! And Kris too, my step mom. I sure love them and miss them! Sure do love ...

Sunday, May 26. I was so ecstatic when I found out I had the entire week off of work during Easter break. I haven't been home for Easter since before college so this was a real treat! Especially for Autumn's 1st Easter! The only drawback is Spencer had school and work and could not get away. Major bummer! We missed him so much. He spent some good time with his family and grandparents that recently returned from their mission, so it was all ok. My aunt is a wonderful decorator and cake baker! All the kidd...

Sunday, July 28. This past month with little Autumn has been the absolute best! I have so enjoyed watching her grow, learn, play, and explore. She is becoming so animated and full of personality. Each day is a delight just knowing that I get to see her and be around her all the time. She is my pride and joy- my greatest blessing. I love you little Autumn! Mostly size 18 months, some 24 months, growing out of all 12 months clothes! Her legs are shorter than her torso. Milestones and Physical Development:.

Saturday, November 16. My little girl is a budding toddler and the most precious person in my world. She lights up my life every single day and brings more joy into my life than I have ever felt before. I love her more than anything in the entire world, and will always love her no matter what! I am amazed at the love and extreme peace I feel knowing she is mine forever. Just look at that face. So much potential, so peaceful. She radiates pureness and love. I did enjoy having her there with me, even if I ...

Saturday, June 27, 2015. Birth Story #3: A Hard Labor. It was almost four months ago now. The birth of our son! His gender was a surprise. With two daughters already via my body, we leaned towards another daughter.but, low and behold, something was hanging off this babe that was new to us - this was a boy! Until they arrive at LOA position. This makes for some harder work for the laboring momma and baby.so, in this case - us! The Ruminating Reader
Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested: that is, some books are to be read only in parts, others to be read, but not curiously, and some few to be read wholly, and with diligence and attention. Sir Francis Bacon. Books I Return To. Thursday, March 1, 2012. Will Holly find the answers she is looking for? Where does their future lie? Is a tale of regret, hope, and forgiveness. Having a dog takes some dicipline on the owner's part because fur babies are pretty dependant for everything they need. I can no longer stay at work late because I need to get home to take Odin out. This is on our way home from picking Odin up from his mom. He cried the whole way home. Then puked on me. Good times! 2 Get More Exercise. He thinks he's people.
