Training stories and other reminiscences. Saturday, January 3, 2009. I was way too thirsty New Year's Eve and paid for it with a day on the couch New Year's Day. Good thing there was football on, but I missed my tempo run and had to do it on Friday. It was a 45 minute tempo run and I wanted to stay under 9:00 pace for 25 minutes. Tomorrow is a 3 mile run and weights. I don't know if I'll make it. If you is sick, no go! I love a book that makes me laugh out loud and people think I'm crazy.

Michele and I leave the house and get about 10 minutes out and she asked "Your not going to wear your Garmin? I've left it at home. Laid it on top of my wallet and phone so I wouldn't forget it.
