Race history and PR´s. Friday, February 8, 2013. The long frozen trail. Actually the time passes quicker and my body feels better after 50k of trail running than a similar distance and pace on a tarmac road. As mentioned in an earlier post I have a number for Salomon Hammer Trail 100miles. On the Isle of Bornholm, so that is what I´m training towards right now. You can read about the race by clicking the link above. I also got a race number for the Sparthatlon 2013. That is it for now.have to run. SoI ha...

Run 100k Trail | My journey to competing in a 100k trail run
My journey to competing in a 100k trail run. Filling up the info pot. June 29, 2013. Today I started my research on training for and competing well in 100km races. Because my plan is long term, I’m not too fussed as to how quickly I learn. My approach to this process is guided by someone who gave me this advice many years ago; put all the advice you get in a large pot, mix it up, and take out what works for you. Which I found fairly useful too. Http:/ sherpajohn.blogspot.com/. In summary, in addition to ...
Journey to 100 miles
Journey to 100 miles. Friday, November 10, 2006. Nov 10th, 2006. Start Time: 6:00 am. Distance: 9.0 mi (approx). Route: Cleveland to Massie to trails to Emmet to campus to Cherry. Warm weather, great run. I would have gone longer, but had to get to an early class. Time/distance was longer than I'd planned, anyway. Great morning for a run. Made an effort to start a little slower (first 20 min or so), and it paid off in more energy in the end. Posted by HillaryS @ 8:39 AM. Thursday, November 09, 2006.
