Artrhrogryposis Awareness Day

This page will be updated in the future to let you know of any activities or events specifically related to next year's awareness day. In the meantime feel free to check out amcsupport.org. My goal is to raise awareness of AMC and AMCSI". I am running 62 Miles on Sept. 5th, 2014 to raise awareness for AMC and money for AMCSI a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. All donations are welcome and appreciated! They will help motivate me as I run through the woods at the Pinkney Recreation Area for 30 hours! About Arthrogryposis

My goal is to raise awareness of AMC and AMCSI". We knew none of this on January 7th 2008 when our daughter Grace was born. We spent 9 days in the neonatal intensive care unit and were discharged without any understanding of why she didn't move her arms or why her hands and foot were "crooked". We received excellent medical care, they were just unaware of AMC! We began physical therapy, splinting, and serial casting for her clubbed foot, but WE WERE LOST. We found a second family!

My goal is to raise awareness. Of AMC and AMCSI". The big day is September 5th, 2014. I will run the "LSD 100K" trail race, which is part of the Running Fit "Run Woodstock" race weekend. The run will be on the trails throughout the Pinkney Recreation area, with the start finish at the Hell Creek Ranch in Pinkney, MI. I encourage everyone to come out and cheer me on! The race begins Friday evening and I will be running throughout the day on Saturday and into the evening.
