Sunday, September 18, 2011. Don't let them say stop. We got a female prime minister in Denmark. Our first. But before that in Tokyo this happened:. I love Erika. But she knows, so I don't really have to spell it out here. Koto-ku where I live, seen around 6 PM. When the skies are like this Tokyo seems very beautiful. And yes, that is the Tokyo Sky Tree. Shachou and Shoutarou working at AKAT. Eating KFC surrounded by mirrors. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Rune goes to Tokyo.

Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Rumour's telling me you are mourning, and you haven't slept for several days. For around four weeks it's been possible to write messages for Tohoku on the embassy facade. This is some pictures I took almost two weeks ago. People are still writing and drawing stuff every day. The dinosaur says "fight! Message of gratitude from Higashi-Matsushima. The city where the danish effort is concentrated. Be strong Tohoku, be brave and don't give up". Will get through this, without a doubt".

Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Oh it's the same old tune. I attended the huge anti nuclear demonstration yesterday. Now, before we proceed I'd like to point out that I'm not 100% against nuclear power. Actually I'm inclined to be in favor of it. But I was invited by mother, and I thought the chance was too great to be missed. This was going to be a huge demonstration, and I hoped to see some Japanese taking a political stance. Furthermore Oe Kenzaburou. Was going to give a speech. How could I not go? Well,...

Saturday, January 29, 2011. Like the quakes and the storm. I arrived in Tokyo yesterday. I live in a house with my friend Kaori and her family. And a black cat called Kuro-chan. He hates me. Yesterday I didn't do much. But I loved it. I had gyoza. For dinner, and a bit of kirin ichiban. This is my room:. There was an anti-chinese protest at Ginza. The attendants were singing and the ice-cream had some crazy names. What's not to love? I had this one:. It really lived up to it's name. And this is us! Aweso...

Wednesday, September 7, 2011. To find some beautiful place to get lost. I'm not really getting used to my new lifestyle. It's very flexible, and it's hard to keep focus. Recently these things happened:. Kinda got carried away by the excitement, so I only took a picture halfway through. I had it with friends. Juhyun left Japan two days ago. I can't believe he's not here. And I had Ouzo. It was so nostalgic. It's been years! Maybe 10 or more. I still don't really like it. He was in town and asked me to hav...

Friday, October 14, 2011. For a moment reach for me. Wow Almost one month have passed since my last blog. Time flies. Maybe a little to fast for my comfort. I've been doing school work! Thanks to my amazing supervisor,. I now feel I'm back on track with the part of my life that's waiting for me at home. But here, in my "Japanese life" I went to a very cool place in Nakameguro. With Gen. It's the second restaurant opened by some of his friends from Hakata. Oh dear I hate that. Last week Anne Rosa and I we...

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. No weapon formed against you can prosper. For three days or so the weather turn colder, and we finally got some rain. Actually quite a lot of rain. I went to Kamakura. For the first time in 3 years. Back then I went my partner in crime Gen. We where sort of hung-over, and it was really, really hot. It was the first time I tasted Ramune. As with most soft drinks, I didn't care for it. And he gave me a handkerchief, which I keep in my kitchen in Denmark. Or get his latest book.
