I’M BACK | runmonkey15

https://runmonkey15.wordpress.com/2008/03/23/im-back

Greatest run in the world. I want to thank Derek big time for the text message after he got done running this weekend. That meant a whole heck of a lot and really showed me that you were thinking about me. I’d like to give ya a big kiss. Not. But seriously, that was awesome man…. Update – Bobby, just read your blog entry on the 20 miles, thanks for the well wishes, much appreciated. Good to know you guys got my back. 2 Responses to “I’M BACK”. Feed for this Entry. 5 weeks in the books, really?! | runmonkey15

https://runmonkey15.wordpress.com/2008/02/12/5-weeks-in-the-books-really

Long time no blog…. Easy 5/Vote for Pedro/13 miles of hills. 5 weeks in the books, really? Hard to believe that we’ve been running for 5 weeks, isn’t it fellas? My hip has been bothering me pretty bad when I’m sleeping. Not sure what it is…when I lay the way I always do, on my side, it gives me some pretty intense pain. I’m going to take it a little easy on the 5 miles on Wednesday to try to keep it from doing that…because it sucks pretty bad! No Responses Yet to “5 weeks in the books, really?

Long time no blog…. Well, after several days off from running I got back at it. 5 miles at the Urban Active over in Palomar. Z and I were going to run outside but didn’t feel like fighting the wind. Plus it’s warmer inside. Ha! One Response to “Soreness”. Feed for this Entry. On February 7, 2008. I love the pic although it has nothing to do with running…”no TV and no beer make homer go CRAZY! Bobby’s Running Blog. St Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Loop Around the Lake – The Sequel. March 16, 2008. You know that you’ve gotten into some hard core running when you find yourself saying things like “that run is only 12 miles”! This weekend was a scaled back recovery run of 12 miles, and compared to the 17 miler from last weekend that does seem like. Next weekend is going to be a 20 miler, so I’ll give you an update after that one. Responses to “Only 12…”. Feed for this Entry. Team M&H Blog.

Bobby’s Running Blog. St Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Papa John’s 10 Miler. Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon 2008. April 8, 2008. We went 21 miles this past Saturday…our longest training run on the schedule. I’ve been trying to think of what to post on this. It’s hard to put into words how challenging it is to run this far. A co-worker asked me last week if I was ready to go 21 miles. My quick answer was, yeah as ready as you can be! Responses to “Persistence and Determination”. Feed for this Entry.

Why? | Taylor's Marathon Blog

https://taylorbegley.wordpress.com/about

Taylor’s Marathon Blog. Why run 26.2 miles? After much thought (and a little waffling), several of my coworkers and myself have launched into, what we consider, a very bold endeavor. Bold on two fronts:. 1) We are pushing our bodies beyond the limits of what they have previously achieved. 2) We are pushing ourselves to raise large sums of money for those less fortunate at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
