Life After a Marathon. January 7, 2015. June 20, 2015. After NYC, I was ready for a break. I took a very liberal two weeks off after the race. I enjoyed my 26th birthday, some time in Denver, hiked a bit, but I didn’t run, nor did I feel any real urge to lace up my training shoes. That’s how I know I’m ready to get back to running after a hard training cycle: when I’ve enjoyed my break for whatever it’s worth, but embrace those first steps back with a comforting feeling of familiarity and relief. 10 legs on the run. Race Calendar and PRs. Monday, September 21, 2015. It has been a Summer of changes when it comes to my training. After Grandma's I began working with a new coach, Garry Killgore. We have been learning more about each other in each passing week. In July, I had the opportunity to spend some time in McMinville with Garry along with my Saucony. Teammate, Marcy Gage. This girl is awesome! Here are few pictures from my Summer of training and fun. So many great sunsets this Summer.
