Eye Eye Captain - running_bean

March 15th, 2010. I am nursing an injury. A very serious injury. I am suffering from a bad eye brow wax! Look at the picture - professionals shouldn't do that to you face! It has the added insult of hurting frequently when say - you wash you hair and get shampoo in it or go running and get a little sweaty! But on the plus side, the running is going ok. I'll be back in a few days when I have run a 14 miler and thus gone over the half way mark. Wish my toenails good luck! Powered by LiveJournal.com.

February 16th, 2010. My word, it has been a fun month. First there was the killer cold. That really hurt. And dragged itself out. There I was enjoying a lovely Burns night and bang - full sniffles, pounding headache, throat that felt like swallowing scapels. Not fun at all. And I gave the bug to poor Jon. It was stunning. In fact, I would probably give a limb to be back there. Anyway, I shall dash off and get back to the day job. Laters peeps (I know, I should be shot for saying that).

Oh my achey breaky knee. March 11th, 2010. So what have I been up to? I went to East Africa and I trained in 3 out of 4 countries. Didn't manage it in Rwanda as the gym was shut but I was only there for two days so that isn't too bad. Here are some of the points from those two weeks away:. 1 Training in African gyms is very very hot. 2 Running machines don't like towels. If you drop one, the machine tries to eat it and it makes it ill. 3 Running at altitude is hard work (Addis Ababa is 2500m).
