Adventures of a runner in Portland and beyond. A Tale of Three Runners. Me, Shasta, Sarah, and Dani. I quickly hopped on a shuttle and made it just in time to see the runners come flying down a hill toward the first aid station just past the fourth mile mark. As the next top 50 mile racers came through, men and women, it was the same thing over and over ...

As I write this I’m flying southbound toward San Francisco for a weekend in the Marin Headlands for The North Face Endurance Challenge! I’m traveling with three of my closest friends, who all happen to be trail monsters and will be running the series’ 50K tomorrow. That’s 31 miles! Photo by Nate Cooper.

It’s Friday and I have so many goodies to share, the most meaningful of which to me was this blog post on career choices called The Flyway – What Am I Doing? The Land of Running. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. So last weekend I ran a marathon. It was hot and hilly. Should I end there? I mentioned back in February. That I was toying with the idea of a spring marathon. but wanted to wait and see how things shook out before I really committed. After a couple good weeks of training, I decided to just go for it and signed up for the Kalamazoo Marathon. In Kalamazoo, Michigan. All smiles before the start. So, the marathon. It was on a Sunday and I had to work Saturday&...

RUNNING AND LIVING
Thursday, October 31, 2013. I love the beautiful Fall weather. Nothing like running on colored leaves and smelling the crisp air.and not getting drenched in your own sweat, yuck! It's been an interesting time since my last post. I have done a lot of running, and even completed a running streak! Not racing this summer has led to many family adventures including an amazing trip to Paris for my birthday. Looks there was even a race in Jardin de Luxemburg! Me with my lovies! My boy in front of our studio!

Plymouth 1/2 Marathon
PLEASE PLEASE SPONSOR ME! You will be helping to save Orang-Utans! I finished the HALF MARATHON! I crossed the finish line after 2 hours 7 minutes and 51 seconds. The course was pretty hilly, somehow against what was predicted the sun shone, meaning lots of spectators which really helped. Thanks has to go to Martin for his support from his bike all the way round and to everyone else who cheered me on - it was a great help and made me go faster! The competition was won by Rona McGill. Only 1 day left!
