German Lass in Scotland. How it all began. August 24, 2012. September 18, 2012. A year ago, I met a man. Online of all places. We started talking and as the weeks went by, we went from sending each other e-mails to chatting on Skype to sending text messages. I knew early on that I really liked this man. But we’d never met, and while I lived in Germany, he lived in Scotland. We talk on Facetime every day which is amazing because it feels like we are actually spending time together. Being able to see e...

German Lass in Scotland. March 30, 2015. March 30, 2015. As much as I enjoy planning our wedding, it got a little busy there for a few weeks, so it’s nice to get a little break from it all (it may not sound like it, but I am spending much less time on wedding-related things than I did before). Running Tall | To find that perfect stride in life.
To find that perfect stride in life. Even though every day is pretty much the same these days, the fact that we are already halfway into this week makes me incredibly happy. Let’s just say, all I am thinking about these days is ‘home’ and all the things that I want to do and buy and eat. My journey from the couch to running wherever my feet will take me! June 5, 2014. No Fun Equals No Run. And I’m not going to set unrealistic goals and get mad or discouraged when/if I don’t reach them. Unrealistic goals took the fun out of running in the first place. I was too hard on myself.
