Ont traversé l’Antarctique en ski via le pôle Sud sur 2.045 kilomètres. En 73 jours, 15 heures et 35 minutes. Le pôle Sud géographique est atteint pour la première fois le 14 décembre 1911 par l’expédition dirigée par le norvégien Roald Amundsen, un mois avant que le britannique Robert Falcon Scott et son équipe n’y parviennent.
