Pocket Size Studios: Approaching
http://pocketsizestudios.blogspot.com/2015/06/approaching.html
A petite crafting blog for a petite craftswoman. Thursday, June 4, 2015. Quick lunchtime post. Last night I finally got back to my studio table and back to my 52 Card Pick Up cards. I'm approaching the end of the deck! It's been over a year since the class, so I guess it's past time, right? I got 5 done last night. I think this is my favorite of the five. That stamp is one that my mom got me while she was away for a week-long workshop with Seth Apter and Orly Avinieri. June 4, 2015 at 12:41 PM.

A petite crafting blog for a petite craftswoman. Saturday, June 28, 2014. Hi there, Pocketeers. I promise I've still been arting. Slowly, little by little, I've been building my 52 Card Pickup deck. Some cards I'm really happy with, and others less so. But I'm having fun working on them (if you can call it work). Here's what I've put together lately:. Sunday, June 15, 2014. In the Name of the Father. The background is a sample of textured wallpaper from Graham and Brown. I sprayed all those white paper r...

A petite crafting blog for a petite craftswoman. Thursday, March 5, 2015. Yawn* Oh. *blink, blink* Hi. I hope I haven't completely lost you guys. I know, I haven't posted anything since Christmas. Ugh. Lazy blogger. In my defense, though, there's a lot I haven't been doing, because it's Winter and I don't deal well with Winter. It makes me not want to do anything. I even slow down on art-making. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tiny artist, big world. View my complete profile. Getting Medieval - Jeri Westerson.

A petite crafting blog for a petite craftswoman. Saturday, April 25, 2015. OMG She's an Otaku. So when I said I'd be blogging more regularly, I didn't specify the frequency, did I? This is Natsu Dragneel, from the manga and anime series Fairy Tail. He's a dragon slayer wizard who uses fire magic. My first sketch of the current revival. In keeping with the anime thing, and prompted by a fan event over on Tumblr, I started practicing characters from another favorite of mine, Free! Inked the outlines. W...

A petite crafting blog for a petite craftswoman. Friday, September 19, 2014. The ever-amazing Seth Apter. Had a great idea. We all see the beautiful studio spaces that get published in magazines and stuff, and we all drool and get jealous, right? Well Seth wanted people to post pictures of what their studio space really looks like on a daily basis. It has been really reassuring to see other people's messes! So here is mine:. Oh, and my book press. Which is also not currently in use. Of course.

A petite crafting blog for a petite craftswoman. Thursday, November 21, 2013. Thursday Theme: The Road Goes Ever On and On. This week, I'm continuing what I started last week, examining what my tarot cards suggested about my quest for artistic identity. So since last week was my past, this week is where I am on the road. Not much in the way of pictures this time; I'm just going to launch into it. To go in. Do I prefer working on a small scale or a large one? On paper or canvas? With ink or paint? Now, al...

A petite crafting blog for a petite craftswoman. Sunday, December 21, 2014. Hello Pocketeers, long time no see! Sorry I haven't blogged in a few months. I have been making things, though, so I'd like to catch up a little. Most of what I've been making has been for a swap group I joined on facebook. Most of the swaps I've signed up for in the group have been ATCs, but I've done a couple of tag swaps. Here's some of what I've sent out:. An Apple A Day tag. I like all your tags and ATCs! A petite crafting blog for a petite craftswoman. Saturday, June 13, 2015. Last weekend, with two days of Seth Apter classes, was awesome. And I know some of you wanted to see what I did in the workshops, so here we go! Day 1 was Collage Camp. Seth went over several collage principles and techniques, and we did an exemplar of each one, thus building up a sort of handbook for future reference. Then, we did some background painting and were let loose to practice what we had learned. I bet you are. Not.
