All I Need is a Miracle | Running With Books

Now That Would Be A Torturous Vacation. Off and Running… →. March 5, 2010 · 6:44 pm. All I Need is a Miracle. There’s a story in the bible about one of the many miracles that Jesus performed. With nothing but a couple of loaves of bread and a few fish, he fed a group of thousands and not only that, after they ate their fill, they were able to carry away many baskets full of leftovers. So basically, he fed them crumbs. Crumbs. Huh. Go figure. Attract attention because Snags only sniffs on this tag as he’s...

February 24, 2010 · 12:51 am. Now That Would Be A Torturous Vacation. This evening, as we were discussing a possible summer beach vacation, my husband announced that he would like to try parasailing. I held my breath at this most recent announcement, expecting my son to start arguing against such a dangerous activity. Instead, he responded with:. Oh yeah, I’d like to try water boarding! And for the record, let me just say that I have absolutely no idea where he heard the term water boarding! Create a fre...

Newer posts →. September 24, 2009 · 7:43 pm. Dear Neighbor One,. Your daughter and my son enjoyed the walk home and they played in our back yard for a little while. When you got home you opened my back gate and took your daughter home. I yelled goodbye and waved to you both as you left my yard, but you didn’t so much as turn around to offer a thank you. I think that’s rude. Dear Neighbor Two,. Telling Neighbor Three that I stole your sitter? By the way, you don’t pay her nearly enough to watch your kids.

With nothing but a couple of loaves of bread and a few fish, he fed a group of thousands and not only that, after they ate their fill, they were able to carry away many baskets full of leftovers. My son, however, has a different take on the story. As he told me recently, Jesus just broke the bread and fish into lots of little pieces, and that is how he fed so many people.
The Unfunny Files | Running With Books
http://runningwithbooks.com/the-unfunny-files
Most of what I write is humorous. Sometimes things happen that aren’t. This is the spot for those. I imagine I’ll occassionally post here about life with food allergies. They aren’t the worst thing in the world, but they’re not that funny either. 8212; posted Monday August 6, 2007. If I’m not looking for understanding then what am I looking for? Maybe I’m just hoping to bring this issue to your attention and raise your awareness of it. That said, I guess the best way to proceed is to just jump on in.

A Snowball's Chance In...: Hanna, Ike and Josephine...oh, MY!
http://southernsnowball.blogspot.com/2008/09/hanna-ike-and-josephineoh-my.html
A Snowball's Chance In. A Canadian's view of living in rural south Georgia. Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Hanna, Ike and Josephine.oh, MY! The last time I wrote, we were watching Tropical Storm Fay. Now I'm nervously watching Tropical Storm Hanna. They keep changing the forecast track for the storm. Originally it was going to make a direct hit on Savannah, then it shifted south, now it's shifted north to somewhere between Charleston and Myrtle Beach. I now present gratuitous baby and kid pictures. Please...

A Snowball's Chance In. A Canadian's view of living in rural south Georgia. Wednesday, October 31, 2007. It was a graveyard smash. Thank you Bobby Boris Picket. Halloween is here, and I'm going to be off to TFYO's "Fall Fling Party" at school today. You can't say Halloween at school anymore, because it could be offensive. Which is fine. But everyone is dressing up in costumes, and the room will be decorated with jack o'lanterns and cartoony monsters. Nope. Not Halloween at all. Here are some pictures fro...

http://my10kchallenge.blogspot.com/2013/07/running-what-running.html
It started off as a 10k challenge to give myself more reason to run, which I never thought I'd follow through. But follow through I did and dare I say it, I am beginning to rather enjoy running. Thursday, August 15, 2013. So the conclusion, I might do some short runs music-less in the future. My friend Chris does his runs (long AND short) without music and I thought he was nuts, but I can see a kind of logic to the madness. You do become a bit more in tune (pun intended! Sign of Things to Come. On a completely different note. Let’s talk sports. Specifically I want to talk about the guys that no one else gives any props too, especially lately. No I’m not talking about the Quarterbacks or the 5-star wide receivers. I’m talking about no other than the stinkin’ kickers! Luckily, for the kickers I am here to provide support for them. This led to a stash of white t-shirts in large sizes that none of them knew what to do with years later. After saving them from the dump, I stenciled a shirt for my dad. There are tons of ways to do this, but my (rather messy) way involves:. A graphic shirt to measure. A shirt to paint. And some cardboard or a file folder. Fortuna...
