I wrote them all down on a nice crisp sheet of college ruled notebook paper and pinned them to my inspiration board beside my writing desk. Number three, below cultivating calmness and patience, was “run the BolderBoulder. I picked up C25K again 4 weeks ago and was feeling great. After a minor 2 week set back due to lack of time (stupid finals and overtime at wor...

Hiking the 4000’s. Newer posts →. March 30, 2014. The worst of the plague has passed. I took my last two pills yesterday. Hopefully they were the cause of my afternoon malaise/ nausea. Sometimes Matt and I spend hours making a fancy new recipe that seems like it will surely be “blog-worthy.” As we cook I painstakingly photograph each step and Matt waits patiently while I snap shot after shot of the finished dish before we eat. But guess what? Pizza with Andouille, Kale and Cannellini Bean Puree. Salt, to taste.

The Adventures of Annie, Matt, and Bailey the Little GSP. Garden and House (Homeowner Adventures! By Annie at TheLittleGSP.com. Basil is my favorite thing to grow in the garden. This year I have no fewer than 9 basil plants and every one is 2 feet tall and thick with large, green, fragrant leaves. What do I do with all of this basil, you ask? This is probably the way that everyone else makes pizza, but for some reason it didn’t occur to me until tonight. Oh well! You will need…. Pizza Stone and Pizza Peel.

One more down, one to go. Yesterday was our next to last long run before the race. Rob and I were both SO happy with our run. Our last two long runs had not gone as well as we had hoped. And my (shorter) pace run Thursday only happened because of sheer determination to get it in. But yesterday was different. I always. Feel better after running, but after a run like yesterday - that feeling just doesn't go away. A glimpse at the weather as we were about to take off for our run. It was at the top of that h...

Running With Sass
Still Running With Sass. March 6, 2013. I have thought about how I would word this post over and over for the past couple of months. Let me preface by saying I hate change. It has always been a flaw of mine, as I am sentimental and very much a lover of routine. I am learning that sometimes change is good, and required for growth. Pleased to announce my new blog: Through Heather’s Looking Glass. If you remember ANY portion of this long post, I want you to remember one thing: I’m still me. Which is a HUGE ...
