Thursday, May 2, 2013. Bagging Peaks in the Smoky Mountains. A few weeks ago I made the trip down to the Smoky Mountains (Gatlinburg, TN) with my friend Ben for a weekend of all day trail running. After day one of 26 miles, and 32 the second day I was somewhat battered from all the climbs and sustained downhill running. Monday, November 25, 2013. I ran another road marathon. I learned more lessons. Columbia City Veteran's Marathon (Columbia City, Indiana). I ran less in preparation for this race.
