Tuesday, February 17, 2015. Valentine's Day fun and Surviviing Chuck-E-Cheese: Jillian turns FIVE! Saturday, we did some hiking at Mt. Diablo near our house. Ross bought some Boston Marathon themed flowers for Valentine's Day - - 9 more weeks 'till Boston! Jillian still has pizza on her face :). A special note from Jillian (Fo is how Jillian has sounded out "from"). My sweet girl on the eve of turning FIVE! Where has the time gone? She woke up so excited that her birthday was finally HERE!

Monday, May 11, 2015. May Fun - More Run(ning). Graham and Jayden participated in an All Elementary School track meet on May 1st. There are 4 public elementary schools in town and 1 private Catholic school. They did some field events, a 400 meter relay, and 60 yard dash. They had to leave for a swim meet before they could run the 1600 meters (I was a little bummed about that! 4th and 5th graders participated. Graham's 400 meter relay team. Jayden starting of his 400 meter relay team.

Friday, June 27, 2014. All 4 kids - SWIM, BIKE, RUN - - Sturgis Kid's Triathlon Race Report. Last Saturday, all 4 kids participated in the Sturgis Youth Triathlon. While the event wasn't timed - the kids all received a medal and really enjoyed the event! Little sister photo bomb. Brother versus brother at the end - - Graham had the lead the entire race but Jayden won. Graham near the tree in the back of the photo - - I am in awe of his running form :). Jayden out on the run. Love the smile on her face.

Monday, April 27, 2015. Boston Marathon 2015 Race Report - bib 8219 (April 20, 2015). Boston Marathon 2015 Race Report - bib 8219 (April 20, 2015). Race stats: 3:17:16 6302/approx.27000, 833rd female, 716 in AG. We found a YMCA to get in a quick swim over the weekend before the Marathon. Waiting in the athlete's village - trying to stay warm and dry as the rain and 20 mph winds settled into the area. I was so glad to be able to experience this marathon with Ross. The famous Citgo sign! 1 mile to go!

Friday, October 21, 2011. In my quest to find at least one exercise that I might possibly like doing, I've now taken a few Zumba classes. And, I think I've found an instructor I like. And, it's not the skinny minny Russian woman who yells at everyone 'come on, come on.keep up.it's not so hard! Zumba is rather fun but you really have to get over yourself. My class yesterday went something like this:. She wasn't bouncing but that woman had more rhythm in her big toe than I think I have in my whole body!
