Based on the recommendations from my doctor and nutritionist, I calculated the following ranges. I’m supposed to eat at least 1,800 calories a day but I started the range at 1,600 because I find it hard to eat more than 1,800. To calculate the carbohydrates, fat, and protein, each gram of fat contains 9 calories and each gram of carbohydrates and proteins contain 4 calories.

And the four weeks following Dreamforce were taken up getting ready for another big event in New York. And then we had Thanksgiving, which was lovely. And this week I head out to Minneapolis. What I don’t know about dressage and triathlon training. April 27, 2015. After 3 months in the boot the people who are well paid to make such decisions told me to try walking without it. Even though the stress fracture was still – well – fractured. They couldn’t really articulate why this was a good idea except to say I had been in the boot long enough. The timing was fortuitous as I was heading into 3 consecutive weeks of travel. In the meantime, I’ve become mindful of every step. Laquo; Still Healing.

Zoals ik het hoor. Maandag 3 augustus 2015. Jezelf doof of slechthorend noemen, maakt het wat uit? Vroeger was het simpel voor mij: doof ben je als je helemaal niets hoort en gebaren gebruikt en slechthorend ben je als je niet gebaart, maar nog wel iets hoort. Klaar. Want in welke categorie vallen de plotsdoven die niet gebaren dan? En de slechthorenden met CI, die zonder CI immers ook compleet doof zijn? En hoe zit met met kinderen met CI die op een school voor doven zitten en wel gebaren gebruiken?
