When I say that I feel like I'm in a transitionary phase, its not because I'm not married yet. I'm not sure why I feel this way at times, but its probably something to do with the fact that I've changed jobs at my company every 9-12months for the past 4 years. Run Tom, Run. Random thoughts from the miles. Monday, April 26, 2004. The Dam Almost Broke! I'm leading this race! That's right kids - the next Pre was setting the pace at The Best Dam Run In Texas! I hit the turnaround still in 5th and holding strong. The front 4 are starting to pull out of view at this point and I'm on my own to hold my pace. I go into my kick with about 200 yards to go and cross the finish line at 19:33! My whole goal this race was to improve on my time from last week and I smoked it!
