What now? A Quick Half?: Last little jog
http://under2.blogspot.com/2006/04/last-little-jog.html
Couch potato to marathon runner (well sort of) in 4 months. I'd like to try and do a half marathon in under 2hrs. Friday, April 21, 2006. Got home a bit early from work today, 3:30 or so, skiving shhh. Dragged of to Sainsburys to do the weekly shop, got back about 6, a quick banana then my last jog pre marathon. To be honest my right calf was a bit sore so I wasn't sure I should go. Everything felt awkward but I'm sure that's just nerves and worrying about last second injuries and niggles.

What now? A Quick Half?: Jog over the woods
http://under2.blogspot.com/2006/04/jog-over-woods.html
Couch potato to marathon runner (well sort of) in 4 months. I'd like to try and do a half marathon in under 2hrs. Friday, April 07, 2006. Jog over the woods. Friday today and I haven't been running since Sunday. Went for a quick run with the dog. Legs felt heavy and it was pretty hard work. Reading half marathon on Sunday but my under 2hrs doesn't look likely if I'm this sluggish. Posted by Andy.M. @ 8:18 PM. A born again runner? View my complete profile. Countdown to the London Marathon 2005. Monday, January 10, 2005. Rich posted a comment on yesterdays post which made me realise I have not included much details of my training over recent days. So to make amens and "prove" that I havent been a lazy boy below is an extract from last weeks training log. 56:15 - 5.09 per km. Standard route but a little faster than usual, felt good. 53:03 - 4.52/ per km. Pushing the pace, closest I can get to speedwork while there is still ice around. 59:26 - 5:27 per Km.

What now? A Quick Half?: July 2005
http://under2.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Couch potato to marathon runner (well sort of) in 4 months. I'd like to try and do a half marathon in under 2hrs. Sunday, July 24, 2005. Simple, I don't like commuting. My new job is great, but it takes me about 2hrs to get there and the same to get back each day. I don't know how long I'll put up with that for. The company is quite happy to put me up in a swanky hotel any night (or all) of the week, but I'm sorry, whats the point of being married with 3 kids and not seeing them every day? Need I say more.

What now? A Quick Half?: August 2005
http://under2.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Couch potato to marathon runner (well sort of) in 4 months. I'd like to try and do a half marathon in under 2hrs. Monday, August 29, 2005. I did promise myself that I'd go running today, but it was very hot and we did loads of typical bank holiday family stuff. But a promise is a promise, so I pull on the trainers at about 7 and went for a quick hilly run. Only a very short run all on tarmac but it includes 2 pretty good hills. Work tomorrow - oh happy days. And I'm supposed to be a 17hc. I like running,...

Couch potato to marathon runner (well sort of) in 4 months. I'd like to try and do a half marathon in under 2hrs. Tuesday, September 20, 2005. Whether I want to or not. No not my love life - my running. I seem to be settling into a routine, probably due to a lack of something to aim at. I'll have to start entering races again, just to focus my running. Went today, over the woods taking in every hill I could see. Not much else happening really. I bowled ok. 188,185,159. Posted by Andy.M. @ 8:16 PM. Saturd...
