A Rachel On the Run: Running to Nowhere
http://arachelontherun.blogspot.com/2011/02/running-to-nowhere.html
Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Running is probably one of the only things that I can give myself credit for lately. Usually I leave these sort of conversations for my "Ramblings of Rachel" blog but honestly that blog is dead and I need to do some venting. I wake up every morning and wish I could just not go to work. Wednesday, February 09, 2011. I am trying so hard to get back into the groove too! I hope to see you at Get Lucky! March 8, 2011 at 7:35 AM. I know it can be hard to promote your blog or websit...

A Rachel On the Run: First Day Down
http://arachelontherun.blogspot.com/2012/06/first-day-down.html
Tuesday, June 12, 2012. The first day of marathon training has been completed. Albeit we missed the first week of our training plan by not being attentive enough. However, we will easily catch up. The 3 miles felt great as it was a bit on the cooler side today. Andy was lagging behind me a bit in the end but still kept on my heels. I also had a run on Sunday that didn't go quite as well. I only ran 2 miles and it was near 85 degrees in the morning. It got up to 95 degrees that day. Tuesday, June 12, 2012.

Run, Emilie, run!: March 2008
http://see-emilie-run.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Run, Emilie, run! Monday, March 31, 2008. Weekly Challenge: It's not you, Diet Coke, it's me. Rather than take on a bunch of changes all at once, I have decided to experiment with a new method: taking one challenge at a time, and trying it on for a week. I get overwhelmed when I think of all the things I should. No more diet soda. I will post about how the challenge is going at the end of the week. Until then, I will be fighting off the urge to have a Diet Coke IV hooked to my veins. Hopefully all of thi...

Run, Emilie, run!: Transitioning
http://see-emilie-run.blogspot.com/2009/03/transitioning.html
Run, Emilie, run! Monday, March 2, 2009. One Or, you know, nothing like that, since I shouldn't be assigning human emotions to inanimate objects. Not like I would do that. Um, you forgot the link. I kinda think you did it on purpose! Funny thing, just this weekend I started a Wordpress blog to play with with the thought of moving mine that way as well. Was it hard to move the posts over? March 2, 2009 at 10:05 PM. I totally do the same thing with food (okay, and other stuff too)! March 2, 2009 at 10:42 PM.

Run, Emilie, run!: January 2008
http://see-emilie-run.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Run, Emilie, run! Thursday, January 31, 2008. I am the unemployable. With my enthusiasm for graduate study rapidly dwindling, and my enthusiasm for the poverty associated with graduate study non-existent, I have been very actively searching for a part-time job to supplement my income and expose me to life outside of the Ivory Tower (of doom and gloom). Results of search: I am, apparently, not a viable job candidate. This is troubling. Plans to find isolated homestead put on hold until further notice.

Running on My Time: Freihofer's 2010 RR
http://runningonmytime.blogspot.com/2010/06/freihofers-2010-rr.html
Running on My Time. Saturday, June 5, 2010. I have to say, this is one of the best Freihofer's I've ever run! There is definitely something to be said about having friends and family there for the race. Yesterday I went to the expo, picked up my bib (#111), did a little shopping, and met some people. I've never gone to the expo the day before the race and I loved it! Me and Felice, a.ka. The Happy Runner. To buy another Bondi Band for the race. The swag.a box for me, a box for Bugs, a box for Punky.

A Rachel On the Run: July 2010
http://arachelontherun.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 12, 2010. This weekend I went "home" to visit my parents in Lindstrom and attend the annual Karl Oscar Days events. Saturday morning, I ran the Lindstrom Loppet. I've been trying to catch up to my PR for this race for years but have yet to do so. I still didn't catch it this year, but had a great time running. It was a bit drizzly for this race which was kind of nice because I didn't have to deal with the heat that hit us later that day. I started out the race pretty good- finishing my f...

My cousin and I, "Team Highlighters", will be hosting a "Party in the Park" on August 21st at Springbrook Nature Center in Fridley. There will be a photographic scavenger hunt at the start of the event. We are also gathering raffle items and so far have an autograph from Kevin Williams of the Minnesota Vikings! Cost for meal tickets (no scavenger hunt): $10 adults, $5 children (12 and under).
