http://rural-legacy.blogspot.com/2015/06/all-in-monday-morning.html

Monday, June 8, 2015. All in a Monday Morning. Hope you're enjoying your sunny (hot) Monday! So far today, we've picked up the latest meat chick order from the post office (2 didn't make it) and got them situated in their brooder tank. Today is a day for chocolate. And a lot of iced tea. Because it's too hot for a proper cup of tea. ;). Monday, June 08, 2015. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It's a crazy, beautiful life. Plenty of story-telling opportunities. Here we go. :). Rural Legacy: The Great Llama Shearing

Monday, June 8, 2015. The Great Llama Shearing. Sorry for the blurry picture. Silly llama doesn't like any sort of drama, but he'll feel much better without that heavy coat. Now if anyone would like to help give the billy goats a buzzcut. :P. Monday, June 08, 2015. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It's a crazy, beautiful life. Plenty of story-telling opportunities. Rural Legacy: Weeping Santa Rosa

http://rural-legacy.blogspot.com/2012/04/weeping-santa-rosa.html

Saturday, April 21, 2012. 2 years ago, as I was browsing through a Raintree Nursery catalog, I spied an intriguing little picture of a weeping, flowering tree. Even though it's an ornamental, it still produces some fruit. How convenient! I thought, and I couldn't get the gorgeous tree out of my head. It's such a pretty little thing; doesn't get too tall to be annoying or intrusive, gives up plums, and has a 'weeping tendency'. Oh please, Daddy? MY TREE IS HERE! This year, as I watched life emerging from ...

Rural Legacy: Weekend Warrior

http://rural-legacy.blogspot.com/2015/04/weekend-warrior.html

Monday, April 27, 2015. That's how many baby plants I was able to transplant over the weekend after converting the porch to a makeshift gardening shed. :P. And now the porch has been taken over by baby plants. Let these little guys get some size on them, and then it's time for them to be transplanted into the herb garden! Yay for slug-eaten Johnny Jump-Ups. Monday, April 27, 2015. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). It's a crazy, beautiful life. Plenty of story-telling opportunities. Here we go. :).

King's Child: August 2010

http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Diary of three Christian sisters. Friday, August 20, 2010. A disgustingly fun day. Some may say that my friend and I are devoid of common sense. Others may say that we are crazy. But to my friend and I? Well, it may be all of the above, but at least we're having fun. ;). Both of us being herb nuts, we eventually had to try using an herb that brings mixed thoughts the the public: Henna. So my friend and I began! Unfortunately, there were three cameras documenting everything from start to finish. ;). Oh de...

King's Child: March 2011

http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Diary of three Christian sisters. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Whir, whir, spin, spin. Gold is heavy, straw is thin. Turn the wheel with pixie purr; spin, spin, whir, whir! Okay, so NO you will not find me quoting Rumpelstiltskin while I spin; it just came to mind. Projects that I'm spinning right now are two alpaca fleeces, one Babydoll Southdown sheep fleece, 7 lbs. of Dorset sheep wool, and I might be getting some Coopworth sheep wool soon. Monday, March 14, 2011. Through The Ashes Of Pain. There is a l...

Diary of three Christian sisters. Monday, October 3, 2011. I suppose it's high time I wrote this post. I was talking with my sisters about doing it the other day, and figured I should do it now. This is the official end to 'King's Child'. But please do not come here expecting new posts. This blog is now a dusty archive. You can find Megan's humorous, witty blog at www.patriotspen.blogspot.com. Emily's blog photography blog is: www.lifethroughmylens-emily.blogspot.com. We fairly beamed the whole day!

King's Child: June 2011

http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Diary of three Christian sisters. Friday, June 17, 2011. I sheared the alpaca, who's name was Ozzie. I brought his stunningly white fiber home and carded it into fluffy batts. Then I dyed it in varying shades of brown, buff, grey, and gold. I spun the dyed fiber. I plied the singles together. I wound the yarn into a skein, and counted out 90 yards of it. I started at the beginning, and worked my way almost to the end. Now, what shall I do with it? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

King's Child: Through The Ashes Of Pain

http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2011/03/through-ashes-of-pain.html

Diary of three Christian sisters. Monday, March 14, 2011. Through The Ashes Of Pain. There is a little spot in the 98 acres that recently got bulldozed (to make entering the property easier for vehicles). That small spot was now a mess of broken branches, mud, and remnants of a small cherry tree. It looked pretty bad. But despite the wreckage, a small patch of daffodils still came up and bloomed. Even through the ashes of pain, they still bloomed. That thought came to me today, when I looked at them.

Need Is The Mother Of Invention. Or so they say. Yesterday was our big brothers birthday, and one of his gifts was the LOTR, DVD trilogy. Buuuuut, the movies didn't come in a box, and for some reason, we all wanted them to be in a box. So we set out to make one! Below is our finished product. What think ye? In li...

King's Child: September 2010

http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html

Diary of three Christian sisters. Sunday, September 19, 2010. I suppose that's a good thing, seeing as I live in a very rainy state. ;). I was outside a few minutes ago, gathering some plantain and enjoying the wet. While out there, I couldn't help but think back to when we were still boarding horses. A drenched girl upon a drenched horse, moving in sync beneath the falling raindrops. Friday, September 10, 2010. I am only one,. But I am one,. I cannot do everything,. But I can do something. King's Child: Content...

http://kingschild-caitlyn.blogspot.com/2011/07/content.html

Diary of three Christian sisters. Friday, July 15, 2011. I'm actually doing a post on this seemingly abandoned blog. Through the past couple of months, I have begun seeing changes in life. People I know are courting, or being courted, friends are engaged, my big brother is going to be married next spring, a friend just had her first child. Things are changing and I can't do a thing about it. Amidst all of this change, how do I feel about my state of singleness that I find myself in, at the age of 19?
