Saturday, June 26, 2010. Family Trip to the Beach. Our family went to the beach this past week and we had a blast. It was the first time we had been on a vacation without grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. It was kinda nice it just being us. Plus, you get to walk around only half clothed if you want to and that is always a plus! We stayed at Destin West Beach and Bay Club and it was so nice. It is somewhere I would want to stay at again! The beach was beautiful, the water was so clear, and guess what?

Monday, June 7, 2010. This is just a little update on all of the happenings over the past few months. Just found out that he not only passed his written exam that he took a few weeks ago, but he passed his oral exam that he took today! All he has now is to finish writing his dissertation and he will officially be Dr. Alan Cotney! He loves playing outside, and he is definitely "all boy! Emma is just growing up like crazy! She is soooo funny! Mr Drew is now 13 months old. He is the meanest one so far!

Sunday, May 30, 2010. Will graduated from preschool on Thursday, May 27th. This is a very long video, but it was too cute so I couldn't cut any of it out! Will will begin Kindergarten on August 16th at North Raleigh Christian Academy. He is so excited! It is hard to believe that our little boy is almost 5. He is so smart and loves to meet new friends. Saturday, March 3, 2012. Update on Kade.Sometimes the harder answer may be the best answer. Warning, this post is long. We got to Kade's appointment and Dr. Jallo was in and out with us in about 10 minutes, explained that he never starts out doing the fusion and decompression at the same time, and after reviewing Kade's records he would do the same in his case also. Although, it could be possible to later have to go back to do the fusion. Just not both at the same time. Whew! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, February 6, 2009. I took Emma to the Dr. this morning for her 18 month appointment. She hated being there, but got a great report. Here are her stats:. Height: 32.5 inches. Weight: 20 lbs 10 ozs. She is small, but eats like a horse! Honestly, she eats twice as much as Will does! Anyway, she is healthy and that is what we wanted to hear. Saturday, February 25, 2012. Needing Peace of Mind. That has been three weeks ago. Three weeks in which we could relax just a little, in anticipation that Dr. Jallo could either give us peace of mind by agreeing that the surgery that Dr. Oakes and Dr. Rozelle at Childrens want to do is the only answer to his problem, or by giving us some hope that there is something for Kade that would not be so invasive.
