The Life of the Lone Loganer: March 2010
http://jalizzle.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
The Life of the Lone Loganer. Sunday, March 7, 2010. Back in the day, when I was in high school, I ran around with a large group of friends. This large group consisted of smaller groups that were tight knit and sometimes a little exclusive. These smaller groups planned little outings, to which I wasn't invited, and they had a wonderful time. How did I know I wasn't invited? A couple of times, yes. Did I wish I was invited? Probably not. Do I harbor ill feelings towards these people today? He/she is going...

The Life of the Lone Loganer: Day 2
http://jalizzle.blogspot.com/2011/08/day-2.html
The Life of the Lone Loganer. Sunday, August 14, 2011. Early morning mist on the river. Tammy and Evelyn-It was a chilly morning. Our first stop that morning was to a little cave where we tossed a Frisbee and talked with our guides about the canyon. Ken saw this as an opportune time to get a little bit of shut-eye since the night before was so rough. The cave where we tossed a Frisbee and talked with our guides. Ken taking a nap. The morning mist covering the cliff-tops. View from Hike #1. The hike provi...

The Life of the Lone Loganer. Sunday, October 18, 2009. The History of the Cardboard Regatta. Three summers ago I experienced my first Cardboard Regatta. We had at least two weeks to put our boats together. Our only resources were cardboard, duct tape, and the engineers in our ward. We came up with some pretty good stuff! Our first summer we only had one boat to race against and we won, without a doubt. My first cardboard boat. Getting ready to launch. My boat was the far one. Paddling in for the win.

The Life of the Lone Loganer: Life After College
http://jalizzle.blogspot.com/2009/10/life-after-college.html
The Life of the Lone Loganer. Saturday, October 17, 2009. The supportive parents-Thanks for the help with tuition and New Zealand! The supportive grandparents-Thanks for the help with tuition! I graduated and moved to a different house and started working for Logan City. Things were going smoothly until I started going home a lot. It felt like all of my conversations with my parents were about my future. "What are you going to do about insurance? Where are you going to look for a job? I was in shock!

The Life of the Lone Loganer: January 2011

The Life of the Lone Loganer. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Monday, January 17, 2011. The Uncomfortable Comfort Cliches. The second in a short series about singledom. I just want to reiterate that I'm not looking for sympathy, I'm not angry, and I'm not trying to send a message to "certain people". I'm simply throwing my opinion and point of view out there in the hopes that something will stick; and those who deem themselves guilty parties might make some changes. It'll happen when you least expect it.

The Life of the Lone Loganer: June 2011
http://jalizzle.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
The Life of the Lone Loganer. Sunday, June 19, 2011. The fifth and final installment of a short series about singledom. 1 Touch a boy's elbow three times and you'll land yourself a date-but it's gotta be the elbow. I'm not sure why the elbow and I'm not sure why three is the magic number, it's just what I've heard). 2 After a good date, text the boy a few minutes after you get inside and remind him that you had a wonderful time on said date. Personally, I think this one seems a little over-bearing).

The Life of the Lone Loganer: December 2011
http://jalizzle.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
The Life of the Lone Loganer. Sunday, December 18, 2011. During Day 4 we completed three hikes. They were all very beautiful and it was nice to get out of the raft and move around. The scenery continued to be beautiful throughout this day and I really enjoyed being able to hike into different spots and see things I wouldn't have been able to see from the river. The day before I left on my rafting trip I learned that my teaching job. We hiked to a waterfall and a lot of the group swam around and cooled off.

The Meat Market is a common method used to help rid The Diseased of their ailment. What are these Meat Markets I speak of? Well the LDS (Latter-Day Saint) YSA (Young Single Adult) Wards, of course! What is that you say? You don't see how meat markets and singles wards can be likened one to another? Vendor approves all sales. Speci...

The Life of the Lone Loganer. Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Lately I've had issues with the endings of movies. Specifically chick flicks. They all end the same way. They always end up together. It's the traditional pattern for a Hollywood chick flick. Haven't we gotten to the point where we don't even need the last three minutes of the movie? Don't we know they end up together? Can't we just use our imagination and end it ourselves? They've spent the entire movie trying to find each other. Seeing them...
