From Russia With Love. My Adventures In the Motherland. Getting to know the real Russia. March 4, 2012. The more mundane things in life can often be the most revealing. That’s definitely been the case with my second week in St Petes. This week, simple things like going to the cinema, taking a trip in a taxi and hanging out at a bar have shown me a less positive side of Russian life and its culture. Let me explain….
