The Model A was the first production car furnished with a safety glass windshield as standard equipment. The first Model A produced was given to Thomas Edison. Model A's were produced in Russia from 1932 to 1936 as the "Gaz". December 1927, first Model A Sold. 1930, a five passenger Phaeton was priced at $440. 1931, April 14th, the 20 millionth Ford was produced. Pick up Truck, Station Wagon.
