A couple weeks ago my sister Kate and I went into Boston for a night out with friends. Kate and I had the pleasure of staying at the Revere Hotel. Revere Hotel is located in downtown Boston, in the heart of the theatre district, and just a short walk away from Boston Common. It was the perfect base as it was close to everything we needed. The lobby was very trendy with this cool art figure in the middle. We checked into the hotel and were greeted with these lovely little sweets waiting for us in our room!

And that’s what my family does every year with the zucchini from my grandfather’s garden, make loaves and loaves of delicious zucchini bread! Adopted from Smitten Kitchen. Made into our own. Yield: 2 loaves or approximately 24 muffins. 1 cup brown sugar. 3/4 cup white sugar. 2 cups grated zucchini. 2 teaspoons vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract (optional). 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1 teaspoon baking soda.
