January 10, 2014. Happy New Year 2014! Oh, shame on me. You know why. Holidays went like a blur. We had a great Christmas Day with family, and we missed the ones we couldn't be with. We were 18 people for dinner, this is counting the baby, though (he counts! That morning Michael and I exchanged gifts. He surprised me with a wonderful embroidery machine, it's amazing! December 30, 2012. It's been a busy, busy week! Our Christmas celebration was terrific, from the Christmas Eve services to saying good-bye to Michael's sister and b-i-l. We really enjoyed our Christmas Eve singing in church, with a youth choir of 50 plus young people, hand bells, percussion and trumpets and trombones. The next morning the presents were opened. Michael's sister made her husband this beautiful t-shirt quilt, can you tell he is an Ohio State fan? We made out like bandits! Links to this post.

August 26, 2013. We got up very early ester day morning and started on our way home. We had rented a small house, it was very comfortable and had every amenity, Internet, dishwasher, washer and dryer, in a very old house, but very updated on the inside. Very clean, it was spotless. Nice and large property, attached to woods, meadows, a brook and wetlands, all in the backyard. Well, he was right. September 15, 2013. When we went to the Adirondacks, we stopped for one night in Windham. We hiked for a bit in the Encarpment trail, which was fixed, the bridge over the stream restored and it looked like the trail was well used. Anyway, in the closet in Windkam I found this quilt:. January 30, 2013. Still winter, and a birthday. My brother Claus has a birthday today. Happy Birthday, Claus! Although he won't read it, he barely reads emails, I have to call and tell him I sent him something. July 23, 2013. It's been hot, and it still is hot and humid. Yes, we still walk or hike, two weeks ago we hiked to the limit of our endurance. We told each other we could walk longer, but it was tough, and we both were glad to get back to the car. All the little aches and complaints came to the surface, I was never so glad to get down the mountain and sit down in the car. Who did a tour of New England, ending their last hot days in Boston. December 13, 2013. It's been ages since I wrote the last time! Busy We moved the business into this gorgeous (in comparison to the old one) building, and are truly happy here. And they did.
