Rustlers Roost was founded in Coeurd’Alene Idaho in 1982 by Jack LaRoach. In 1983 the Roost was bought by Joan and Dean McEvers with their sons Woody and Daren. Rustlers Roost was a small 35 seat home-style restaurant that featured breakfast all day and was open 6-am to 2-pm. In the 80’s the Roost was serving home style breakfast and lunch. Well known for the biscuits and gravy, Pike St tea and Home fried potatoes. 1993 The Roost expanded to Hayden, Idaho. Today, Rustlers still serving up all those basic.
