I think my time in southeast asia is nearly finished - and so is my bad blog. i have decided to return to the states - probably in june. this has been a great adventure, and i have learned so much, but i miss my friends. it is time to go home. Coming here without a clear idea; not only of my ability to teach, but also my desire to teach.I do think that I'm going to do okay in both ways.but first I've gotta pass this course! Monday, August 31, 2009. This week I started my volunteer gig with "Friends International" - an NGO. It will be fun and I am happy to do some volunteer work with this group = still being unemployed isn't too fun though, and I sure wish I was getting paid. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Stay off the roads! So last night I was walking back from trivia night.when suddenly I heard the strangest noise. I turned around to see an SUV round the corner with a moto. Stuck under the front bumper.and the SUV wasn't.

Friday, July 10, 2009. Night and i just, happily finished my first week of the CELTA. I had to teach 2 times this week - the second time was just a few hours ago.i did a reading lesson for 40 minutes with a theme of movies. . so - i was to use several visuals for a game(movie posters, etc.).but the printer went out last night and i wasnt. Able to get my lesson ready until about and hour before the class started (a tech guy had to be called in = it wasnt. Just my usual inability to do anything techy.
