I called Biker 1 (aka Sister) to see if she would like to ride bikes with me on this New Year’s Day morning at our favorite beach and also, to stop at the HB Pier for the annual Surf City Splash. People at the Beach – Google Maps. March 21, 2015. Last month I went bike riding at Huntington State Beach. And ran into the Google Maps guy. I first saw him putting on his camera gear while I was getting my bike out of the car, but I didn’t realize he was the Google maps guy. There are so many odd people at the beach, that you really don’t give it much thought when someone is doing something different. I rode down to Brookhurst and that’s when I saw the Google Maps car.
