Tuesday, August 31, 2010. 2 days and 3 new puzzles. On Sunday we picked up some new puzzles and Ruth was so excited to see this one. She immediately said it was like the "I spy" book her correspondence teacher had sent her. 100 piece done. Another 100 pieces. I was not sure if she would recognise the characters (I don't remember her watching Shrek. At all) but she immediately told Rachel about the Alice band that someone had that had Shrek. Ears I must have a look if the movie is in the toy library.

Saturday, December 25, 2010. We decided to go for a cat for Rachel (who loves cats). So I found a pattern on line and Ruth cut that out. I transferred the lines onto the material and then Ruth helped me sew the picture onto the material. We sewed the two pieces together (the wrong way around) and then Ruth turned it the right way around (hiding all the stitching inside). Fill with wheat and stitch closed. Sunday, May 3, 2015. Playing with the toys at the hospital. After about 2 minutes I thought it may have stopped and so picked her up and held her in my arms. On looking into her face I realized she was still in the seizure. Her eyes had been pulling to the side earlier and now were forward, but the seizure was still going. It then became a bit of a Tonic seizure with her head arching back. And it just kept going. At 5 minutes we would normally give her a dose of Midazalam. The passage cupboard got flooded.
