The Jacobs' journey: November 2012
http://jeannejourney.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 28, 2012. A Little Chicken Drama. Well, drama might be a little dramatic but after a month of real estate drama I'm ready for another kind so that's where I'm going with it. You just never know what those rascals will do when you're not looking! And now we can play a game that Kaylee always used to enjoy when she watched Sesame Street. One of these things is not like the other. I've snitched on her to her owner and she'll be kept at home for a couple of days. But then as soon as s...

Beloved of the King: January 2013
http://baileydiane.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Beloved of the King. Monday, January 21, 2013. It's hard to believe that it's already January 21, but it is still a new year and with a new year comes a new time to set goals. I like to post my goals on here because then at the end of the year I know where to look for them. I have decided to set 5 goals this year and wanted to make sure I had a purpose in setting them. 1 Read through the Bible in a year again. Means: I will be using the Discipleship Journal reading plan. 3 Pursue a healthier lifestyle.

The Jacobs' journey: September 2013

Saturday, September 7, 2013. Dusting Through the Years. Every once in awhile I get a little overwhelmed with life and wish for someone to clean my house. But this morning as I was dusting I was reminded of a blessing. As I dusted Bob's guitar case as I have for 30 years, it just hit me that I've dusted that guitar case for 30 years! I honestly have never considered dusting much at all other than a dreaded chore. But it was pretty fun today to realize that even dusting has its advantages. Me and my family.

Beloved of the King: A Day of Remembering
http://baileydiane.blogspot.com/2014/04/a-day-of-remembering.html
Beloved of the King. Monday, April 14, 2014. A Day of Remembering. It seems unreal to me that it has been one year since my dear Grandma Diane passed away. This has been a week full of thinking back for me and remembering those last precious days I was able to spend with her. How kind of God to allow me that time free of subbing positions to be able to be home. So today I remember with thanksgiving a life well lived by a woman who loved and served beautifully.
