RUTH BALL Illustration Friday Post. Stitch - Illustration Friday. Theme is "stitch" which is a good opportunity to show my mixed media pieces. From a range of found material, my own photos and various bits and bobs. The pieces are assembled and then stitched down with fine threads. I use the stitch as an additional drawing over the work to complete and anchor the image. Exquisite. Why oh WHY wasn't I born with the sewing gene! Wednesday, 16 January, 2008.
