Adessa, Eliana, and Annea. Friday, March 14, 2014. More Than Two Weeks? We've had some colds and coughs, and strep throat(Adessa) and an ear infection (Annea). Probably the biggest thing keeping me away from blogging is my newfound determination to exercise. Discipline has not been one of my strengths, ever, really. But I have been doing resistance high intensity interval training and walking myself around the block, and feeling good. And so, without further ado:. Eliana: Just had Kindergarten Round Up!

Adessa, Eliana, and Annea. Monday, April 21, 2014. We did a little bit more for Pascha this year. It went well, and maybe we should have been doing a little bit more all along. We made it to several holy week services, and the girls did great overall. Anticipating Abba throwing flowers during Saturday's service, our favorite. Snuggling with Daddy waiting for the rest of the service to happen. Really, for the girls, it's all about throwing the flowers. Cute Easter photo area. During the midnight service.

Adessa, Eliana, and Annea. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. Snuggling with her bike. She loves carrying it, dragging it around, and sitting on it. The gliding hasn't happened so much, but it will come! Got more and more frustrated as she watched Eliana zooming by her. It was difficult to try to encourage Eliana (She's riding a bike! While not totally demoralizing Adessa. Difficult. We learned to divide and conquer, and Adessa is getting it after a few sessions with Daddy. The future bike gang. Eliana going for it.

Adessa, Eliana, and Annea. Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Oh Frabcious Day, my girls made huge progress swimming this summer! The heavens parted and angels sang as she lifted her feet of the bottom of the pool and first floated, then glided, then paddled and kicked. She's swimming! Still very hesitantly and for short spurts, but the girl is swimming. Yay! I can stop trying to convince myself, for Eliana anyway, that she'll swim when she's ready. She is ready. It was exciting times, people! Now you see her.

Adessa, Eliana, and Annea. Sunday, June 29, 2014. Adessa: Had a birthday, took some swimming lessons, finished her fabulous year of first grade, and I'm sure there's more.
