The Various Things I Get Into and Learn From. How do you deal with it? I'm working through a situation I was in this past weekend. I was at a party where most of the people were much younger and very heavy drinkers. Not generally my thing, but sometimes it's fun to do something different. Posted on Aug. 5th, 2014 at 10:39 pm. This is my journal, ill do as i please. It's my last day at work for two weeks, my first and probably only vacation this year! This is my journal, ill do as i please. It took me about an hour this morning to realise it was my birthday. not that i forgot the day, of course, i just didn't see anything with the date 3-3 to kind of stick out as a little reminder. then i saw an odd number of new messages in my facebook inbox and it became clear. aha! 29 years old today. =). Today i don't have much planned, it's likely to be pretty quiet but that's fine with me. i'll probably celebrate with friends when i return to nyc.
