Diana's Occasional Blog: The book covers
http://dianaparkes.blogspot.com/2011/08/book-covers.html
The purpose of this blog is to share what I am doing as an artist, both successes and failures, and to act as a tutorial. Events and anything else related to textiles and art will be covered as well; plus life with all its vagaries. Sunday, August 14, 2011. The rest of the pages are cut out but need to be trimmed before assembly, and will probably get extra elements as well. Labels: The book covers. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I wanted to add some text, and this is how I went about it:. 5 Removing the mirror-imaged text and lifting the art work reveals the text the right way round! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

This can be very t...I am an a...

About two years ago I completed a large piece called Escape. At this time I was not totally sure whether I really liked the outcome or not, so it was put into storage for 'time out'. The original piece on completion. I am an...

My current experiment is to be achieve solely with textile heat set pigments or paints. I enjoy the unexpected and am aiming for things to appear 'dyed'. The initial application - too dense! After a scrub and a wash - much better! Labels: Scrub and wash.
